Core concepts
How accounts, businesses, locations and team members fit together.
A little vocabulary goes a long way. Here are the building blocks Bookka is organised around.
Accounts
An account is the top-level entity that holds your subscription and billing. One account can own one or more businesses (locations) under a single plan, so you only pay for one subscription no matter how many locations you run.
Businesses & locations
Each location is a full business in its own right — its own public page, services, team and payouts — grouped under your account. Your plan includes a set number of locations, and you can add more with the location add-on.
Team members
Team members are the bookable people in your business. Staff seats are pooled at the account level, so they can be assigned across your locations. Suspended members keep their history but stop counting against your seat limit and disappear from booking.
Services
Services define what can be booked, for how long, and at what price. When you remove a service, Bookka soft-deletes it — past bookings and reports keep referencing it correctly instead of breaking.
Usage allowances like SMS, email and AI credits are pooled at the account level, not per location.
