Booking software for lash and brow techs, where an infill depends on what is left

A client who books a two-week infill and arrives with nine lashes left is a full set in an infill slot, and your whole afternoon pays for it. Bookka lets you price and time each of them properly, keeps the patch test date where you can see it, and makes the deposit the thing that holds the chair.

What lash and brow techs put up with

If none of these are your week, you probably do not need us.

  • Infills booked by the client’s optimism rather than by what is actually still attached.
  • Patch test dates for tint and lamination remembered, not recorded, and never when you need them.
  • A two-and-a-half hour full set lost at an hour’s notice to someone who felt like a lie-in.
  • Classic, hybrid, volume and mega all on the menu at the same length, so the book bears no relation to the day.
  • Clients stretching three weeks to six and arriving needing twice the work at the same price.
  • A removal done at the start of a set, unbooked and unpaid, because it was quicker than arguing.

What changes

Each one is a thing the product does today, not a thing on a roadmap.

Infills priced by how long since the last one

Two-week, three-week and a full set as separate options or services with their own times and prices, so what she books is what you actually have to do — and the gap stops being your problem to absorb.

Classic through mega, each with its own hours

Style sits as an option on one service, setting both the price and the duration, so the menu stays one line long and the calendar still tells the truth about a volume set.

The patch test date is on her record

Notes and tags on the client, private to the business, so the date you did her tint patch test is in front of you before she arrives rather than somewhere in a message thread.

Removals are booked, not absorbed

A foreign-set removal is an add-on with its own minutes and its own price, ticked when she books, instead of forty unpaid minutes discovered at the start of the appointment.

Deposits on the sets worth protecting

Set per service, so a mega volume full set carries one and a fifteen-minute brow tidy does not. The cancellation window is shown before payment and enforced afterwards.

You can see who has drifted

Your numbers name the clients who have not rebooked and how long it has been, which for a trade that lives on a two-to-three week cycle is the single most useful report there is.

What you get

Everything a lash and brow studio runs on, in one place

Instead of a booking app, a card reader, a notebook of patch test dates and a message thread you scroll to find out what she had last time.

Fill the book

Bookings arrive while she is lying there with her eyes shut, and at eleven at night.

Online booking, on your page and in the marketplace. Your own booking link plus a profile customers can find by service and suburb. You choose whether bookings confirm instantly or wait for your approval.

A calendar per person. Every team member has their own services, hours and schedule, with roles deciding who sees what. Chair renters and multi-location shops are handled as first-class cases, not workarounds.

Services with options, add-ons and quotes. Length variants that change the price, add-ons that extend the appointment, and a quote request for the jobs that have to be seen before they can be priced.

Get paid

The deposit on the set, the balance when she sits up, and the cleanser on the way out.

Deposits and cancellation policies. Take a per-service deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due on the day. The customer sees the amount and the cancellation window before they pay, and a cancellation inside the window refunds itself.

A point of sale for walk-ins. Ring up services and retail at the counter, take cash or card, or use a WisePOS E terminal. Bookka charges no fee on an in-person payment — only Stripe’s own terminal rate applies, and cash costs nothing.

Gift cards and an online shop. Sell gift cards and products from your booking page, with pickup or post, and refunds and fulfilment tracked in the same place as your appointments.

Bring people back

Two weeks becoming six is the difference between a full book and a quiet one.

Reminders by SMS and email. A confirmation immediately and a reminder before the day, sent automatically. No-shows are mostly a memory problem, and this is the fix for it.

Bookka Rewards. Points for what people spend or stamps for turning up, redeemed against a catalogue you set. Rewards come off the bill at the till and in the shop.

Campaigns, social and ads. Email and SMS campaigns with single-use promo codes, a scheduler that publishes to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and a manager for Google and Meta ads.

Run the place

The admin that happens whether or not you have software for it.

Numbers you can act on. Revenue, bookings, your best services and the regulars who have quietly stopped coming — with exports and custom reports when you need to look properly.

An assistant that does the admin. Ask it about your own figures in plain English. Turn on changes and it will complete bookings, record cash, adjust stock and draft campaigns — confirming before each one and logging every change. It cannot cancel bookings, refund anyone or touch billing.

Xero, and the rest of your stack. Native accounting sync with accounts provisioned on connect, calendar sync so your own diary stays right, and Stripe underneath all of it.

Everything lash and brow techs need, in one tool

All of it on every paid plan unless the card says otherwise. Where something is limited by plan, the pricing below says so rather than this list hedging each line.

  • Infills and full sets as separate bookings

Priced and timed for the work they are, with the two-week and three-week gap treated as different jobs because they are.

  • Classic, hybrid, volume and mega as options

One service carrying all four, each setting its own duration and price, so your page reads “from $90” instead of listing eight near-identical lines.

  • Foreign-set removal as a paid add-on

Ticked at the time of booking, adding its own minutes to the appointment so the set still finishes when it is supposed to.

  • Patch test dates and sensitivities on file

Kept as notes and tags on the client record, private to the studio and readable before she walks in.

  • Brow lamination, tint and shaping as add-ons

Combined onto one appointment at booking time, each contributing its own minutes rather than quietly overrunning.

  • Deposits where they matter

Chosen service by service, so the long sets are protected without making a quick wax awkward.

  • A cancellation window that holds

Shown to her before she pays, applied automatically afterwards — the refund inside the window happens without you touching it.

  • Automatic SMS and email reminders

A confirmation on booking and a reminder before the day, which is most of the answer to a trade built on short cycles.

  • A calendar per tech

Separate services, hours and clients for each person, with roles controlling who sees the whole studio.

  • Aftercare products and gift cards

Cleansers and brushes at the counter or through your online shop, and vouchers from your booking page.

  • Stamps or points for regulars

Bookka Rewards against a catalogue you set, coming off the bill at the counter rather than living on a card she loses.

  • Payment in person, at the cheaper rate

Card, cash or terminal when she sits up, settling into your own Stripe account with no platform cut on top.

Split them by the gap rather than by what the client thinks. Have a two-week infill, a three-week infill and a full set, each with its own realistic duration and price, and put the cut-off in the service description. The client picks against a rule rather than against optimism, and if she turns up with nine lashes left you are charging for a full set because that is what the menu already said.

On the client’s record, as notes and tags owned by the studio and never visible to her. The date, the product and any reaction, in front of you before she arrives. Worth being straight about: Bookka has no patch test reminder that fires on its own, and no consent form she completes before the appointment — the record is yours to write and yours to check.

Yes, as an add-on she ticks when booking. It adds both its price and its minutes, so the appointment is long enough to include it and you are not silently donating the first forty minutes. If you only find out on the day, it can also be rung up as an extra line at the counter.

Yes. Keep one service — a full set — and put the style behind mutually exclusive options. Each sets its own price and duration, your page advertises it as “from” the cheapest, and when you change what volume costs you edit one option instead of hunting through eight services that have quietly drifted apart.

Your numbers list the clients who have not rebooked and how long it has been, which on a two-to-three week cycle shows a problem long before it feels like one. From there you can send a campaign by SMS or email with single-use promo codes. Bookka does not have standing recurring appointments, so a regular fortnightly slot is rebooked rather than repeating on its own.

No. They book in a browser from your own link or your marketplace profile, and the confirmation and reminder come by SMS and email. Nothing to install, which matters for the client who finds you through a photo on Instagram and books in the next thirty seconds.

Deposits are per service, not per studio, so you can hold the two-hour sets and leave the short brow appointments alone. The client sees the deposit and the cancellation window before she pays, so nothing is sprung on her, and inside the window the refund is automatic — which is usually what people are actually worried about.

No commission on bookings, on any plan, including clients who come through the marketplace. A free plan covers five bookings a month, then Business is $39 a month for up to five people and Executive $69 for up to twenty, with extra staff at $14.95. Online card payments cost 2.2% + 30c, all in and GST inclusive on Australian cards. In person Bookka takes nothing at all — you pay only Stripe’s own rate — and cash, your own EFTPOS machine and a gift card being redeemed cost nothing. Everything settles into your own Stripe account rather than ours.
