Data Deletion

You can delete your Bookka account and the data we hold about you at any time. There are two ways to request deletion.

Option 1 — Self-service (recommended)

  1. Sign in to your Bookka dashboard at bookka.app.
  2. Open Settings → Account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm.

This permanently removes your profile, businesses, bookings, customer records, posts, campaigns, and connected social-account tokens. It cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Email request

If you can’t access your account, email privacy@bookka.app from the address associated with your account. Include:

  • Your full name and the business name on the account.
  • The email address you used to sign up.
  • A clear statement that you want your account and data deleted.

We’ll verify your identity and confirm deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account profile, login credentials, and contact details.
  • Your business profile, services, hours, and business photos.
  • Your booking and customer-management data.
  • Scheduled and draft social media posts you created in Bookka.
  • OAuth access tokens for any connected social or advertising account (Meta, TikTok, Google).
  • Media you uploaded to our Storage (images, videos for publishing).

We complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation. Some records may be retained for legal, tax, or anti-fraud purposes as required by law (typically up to 7 years for financial records).

Posts already published to third-party platforms

Posts we published on your behalf to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok live on those platforms’ servers. Deleting your Bookka account does not automatically delete those posts from the third-party platforms. To remove them you must delete them from within each platform’s own app, or disconnect Bookka from your social account before requesting deletion.

Disconnect a social account without deleting your Bookka account

If you only want to revoke Bookka’s access to a specific social account (without deleting your Bookka account), go to Marketing → Social and click Disconnect on that account. We revoke and delete the access token immediately.
